This policy explains what happens to information when you use wheelclick.com.

The wheel on your device
Choices you type into a wheel are saved in your browser until you clear site data. We do not run accounts, and we do not keep a copy of your wheels on our servers.
If you open a shareable view, the names, colors, and appearance settings are placed in the link. Photos you upload are not put in the link. Anyone with the link can see what is in it. The link can also show up in your browser history and in ordinary server logs.
A theme choice is saved in your browser so the site can open in the same look next time.
Multiplayer rooms
A room does not need an account. To join, you type a nickname. The room has a four-digit code. We use that nickname as your slice. The host can remove you from the room.
The room link can include the room id and the code. Anyone with the full link can try to join.
Your browser stores a random id so the room can tell your browser from another one. It is not your name.
Nicknames, who is still in, and the state of the round are handled on our server while the room is in use. After everyone leaves, that data is dropped after a short wait. There is no text chat. The only messages people can send are four preset reactions.
Do not put a phone number, email address, or anything private in a nickname.
Spin to Win
The Spin to Win page is a demo. The email field is checked in your browser and is not sent to us. The discount codes on that page are samples. They are not offers from Wheel Click.
Photos
If you search for a photo, your search words are sent to our server and then to Unsplash. The photo files then load from Unsplash. Unsplash's own policy applies. If you use one of their photos, the page credits the photographer and links to Unsplash.
A photo you upload stays in your browser. It is not sent to us.
Other data
Pages load fonts from Google, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
Our host keeps ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, browser, date, and the URL requested. A shared wheel link in that URL includes the choices that were put in the link.
We do not sell personal information. We do not show third-party ads.
Children
Wheel Click is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
How long it stays
Data in your browser stays until you clear it. Room data is kept while people are connected, then dropped after a short wait once the room is empty. Server logs are kept for as long as our host retains them, then deleted or overwritten in the normal course.
Your choices
You can clear site data for this site to remove saved wheels, the theme, and the room id. You can stop using share links if you do not want choices in a URL.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after that date means you accept the new policy.
